It was Jen\u0151 Kar\u00e1tsonyi who paved the way for the Order of Malta to authorise the creation of a Hungarian national association in 1928.<\/p>\n<p>The centenary of the presentation of Count Jen\u0151 Kar\u00e1tsonyi&#8217;s credentials on 8th April 1925 was celebrated by the Hungarian Order of Malta, at the invitation of H.E. Ambassador Dr. Heinz Anton Hafner, on 10th April at the Church of the Holy Name of the Virgin Mary in Solym\u00e1r, where Count Jen\u0151 Kar\u00e1tsonyi is buried. The solemn Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Michael W. Banach, Apostolic Nuncio, Conventual Honorary Chaplain Grand Cross. Among those present were former Ambassadors of the Order to Hungary HRH Michael Habsburg-Lothringen and Imre Ugron, the \u00a0President of the Hungarian Association of Knights of Malta Krist\u00f3f Szabadheg\u00ff, the President of the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta P\u00e9ter Szabadheg\u00ff, as well as former President of the Republic Dr. P\u00e1l Schmitt, the Mayor of Solym\u00e1r Mr. Peter Zlinszky, and numerous members of the Order.<\/p>\n<p>After Mass, H.E.
