On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Curia (the supreme judicial court of Hungary), a breakfast reception was held on 24 February for the diplomatic corps accredited in Hungary. H.E. the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta was present at the reception and had the opportunity to congratulate the President of the Curia, Dr. András Varga.
Successful conclusion of the Grand Master's official visit to Hungary.
The former occupational therapy institute in Pomáz has been run as a specialised psychiatric hospital by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta since 2022. It was this healing institution that was visited on Wednesday morning, 18 September, by the Grand Master and his entourage, during their official visit to Hungary.
The President of the Republic, Dr. Tamás Sulyok, received Fra' John Timothy Dunlap, Prince and Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, who arrived in Hungary on an official visit, with military honours at Kossuth Square. Following the ceremony, the parties held talks at the Sándor Palace and signed the extension of the bilateral cooperation agreement.
