Rome, 25-27 January. The conference of Ambassadors of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta was held in the Magistral Villa, attended by some 100 Ambassadors of the Order as well as a number of presidents of Associations. On the last day of the conference, the Grand Master, the members of the Sovereign Council and the Order’s ambassadors present in Rome were received in a private audience by His Holiness Pope Francis in the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican.
The Order’s Ambassador to Hungary, Dr Heinz Anton Hafner, and his wife Monika Hafner also took part in the audience and had the opportunity to greet His Holiness.
