26th October: Barbara Piazza-Georgi, DeGD, András Schumicky CGM, and József Fulajtár, volunteers with the Berehove District Charity Service of the Order of Malta (Ukraine), were presented with the Order’s Medal for the Ukraine Emergency by Ambassador Dr. Heinz Anton Hafner, at a ceremony held in the Order’s House in Budapest. H.E. Dr. Hafner presented the awards on behalf of his colleague H.E. Antonio Gazzanti Pugliese di Cotrone, Ambassador of the Order to Ukraine.

András Schumicky said on behalf of the recipients: “I am grateful to be a member of the Order of Malta, and to experience the power of this community in the background to my work …. This reward is not for me alone, but for all of us together.”
