Budapest, June 29: the Hungarian Association of the Order of Malta organised its sixth Saint John Charity Ball in the Vigadó centre in Budapest. Guests of honour were Archduke Michael von Habsburg-Lothringen and Archduchess Christiana. HE Ambassador Dr. Anton Hafner attended the ball together with Mrs. Hafner.
The record amount raised by the Ball will be used to finance the participation of young disabled Hungarians in the 2024 and 2025 international summer camps of the Order of Malta, and to fund scolarships for promising young Roma members of the Hungarian Malteser Charity Service’s “Symphony Programme”.
