Budapest, 9th September. His Excellency Dr. Heinz Anton Hafner hosted the Annual Reception of the Embassy of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Hungary, on the occasion of the feast of Our Lady of Philermos.

The Ambassador welcomed Prof. András Zs. Varga, President of the Curia, and Mrs. Klara Breuer, State Secretary of Bileteral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary. Invited guests were representatives of the Hungarian Government and the Diplomatic Corps, Church Authorities, and the leaders of the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta.

Among the members of the Order whom the Ambassador greeted, were the Chief Chaplain of the Order in Hungary H.E. Bishop Levente Balázs Martos, the Vice President of the Hungarian Parliament Csaba Latorcai, and former Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén.
