On September 25 the Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Hungary, H.E. Dr. Heinz Anton Hafner, together with the President of the Hungarian Association of the Order, Kristóf Szabadhegÿ, and the President of its Hungarian Charity Service (MMSz), Péter Szabadhegÿ, was received by Mrs. Klara Breuer, State Secretary for Bilateral Relations in the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The working meeting offered an opportunity to inform the State Secretary about the humanitarian work of the entities of the Order in Hungary, especially of the Charity Service. The MMSz had started its wide-ranging social and humanitarian projects as early as in 1989, and from the beginning on was always a major and reliable  partner of successive Hungarian Governments and Hungarian civil society in the fields of health, social assistance and education for disadvantaged sectors of the population.
